A TERRITORY Elders branch has taken out the coveted One Elders Branch of the Year Award for 2018.
Elders Katherine was recognised for their dedication to clients, branch growth and community contribution at the annual ceremony in Adelaide.
The branch was chosen from more than 200 Elders divisions across Australia.
Elders Katherine branch manager Paul McCormick was thrilled to accept the award.
“I’m fortunate to support a great team, who do just get it and what we are trying to achieve as part of Elders,” he said.
“Our team have an amazing drive and a willingness to meet and exceed client needs.”
The branch achieved a 5.15 per cent growth in earnings in 2018.
“Our entire team has had a stellar year,” Mr McCormick (right) said.
“Farm supplies in Katherine has been the highlight. Livestock had another great year among challenging times and real estate was pivotal in our branch earnings.”
Their focus on community contribution saw the branch raise $146,000 for Katherine-based charity Dolly’s Dream over three events in 2018.
“An enormous number of after-hours work was put in by all team members for these events and they are extremely proud of their achievements,” Mr McCormick said.
Elders CEO and managing director Mark Allison was proud of the Territory branch and their efforts.
“Elders Katherine demonstrated their commitment to safety and being in a remote area,” he said,
“Driving long distances and working with cattle that are often higher risk than most, has firmly planted safety in their minds and embedded in their culture.
“It is a significant achievement to be recognised as our branch of the year. I congratulate the entire Elders Katherine team.”
It was the first time Elders Katherine won the award.
